My Black Ball makeup on Top Chef's PADMA LAKSHMI

Love to work with Padma here's what I did for the Black Ball Charity Gala.  The dress was awe inspiring (by Cushnie et Ochs )if any body even looked at the makeup (haha) here is what I used:

Skin: Clarins "Beauty Flash Balm" for firm dewy skin / Chanel Rouge Coco Baume

Prime: Jouer Anti-Aging Moisture Primer

Base: Armani "Luminous Silk Foundation" (8 and 9"

Under eye: Kevyn Aucoin 'The Sensual Skin Enhancer' (sx11-12 - mix with beauty flash balm)

Contour: Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate Intensity 1

Cheek: Kevyn Aucoin The Pure Powder Glow (blush in Natura)

Brows: Mac Eye Shadow on her brows (Omega / Coquette)

Eyes: Mac Eye Shadow "Bottle Green" on lid with Elizabeth Arden "Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant" and Shue Uemura "G Gold - Sparkling Gold" glitter shadow pressed in with my finger.

Eyeliner: Kevyn Aucoin The Eye Pencil Primatif Pencil Eye Liner (in Navy) inside and along outside lashes smudged top and bottom.  

Lashes: 3 coats of Makeup Forever Smoky Lash Extra Black Mascara and a smattering of a few individual lashes here and there

Lips: Mac "Cork" Lip Pencil filled in Armani Crystal Flash Lacquer - Shade: 103

MIRA SORVINO and more:

I know I know its been forever.  Im back and I'm keeping it regular.  Heres a pic of Mira Sorvino from last week we packed a ton in for the day while I held back the stomach flu.  I learned she sings beautifully and in fluent french.  Life is not fair.  Miras makeup is artful and fresh we went dewy with a nice full lash.  I leaned heavily on the Chantecaille Radiance Gel Bronzer and Liquid Lumiere.  The texture on the bronzer has enough heft to make a nice sculpt and glow without being greasy (though I would still not use it on a really oily skin).  The Lumiere is frankly to DIE for, not greasy subtly sexy.  I say command tab it on over and order it right now.  I'll wait for you to come back.........

Oh and this happened

The amazing Crosby Carter (super agent) came all the way out to Connecticut

the kids were in love.  She is truly a beautiful

whirlwind of energy, smarts and witticisms.  This was Charlies sign she used to pick Crosby up.

We cant wait for her to come back.

Happy New Year

So happy New Year.......after spending two weeks of Christmas vacation being pregnant with bronchitis and coughing until I peed or tore a stomach muscle while entertaining my inlaws I feel like I'm ready to get off to a fresh start or move into an assisted living facility. I have a new agency Crosby Carter and she's moving forward in a really good and different way. I have some fun new clients to tell you guys about and am heading off to the globes in a week. I've had the chance to try some new great products in the last couple months. Most of all I'm having my second girl at the end of March for which I'm planning on taking off 5 seconds.....stay tuned......
