I heart Mindy Kaling

Worked with Mindy this morning in Boston. People love her and I can see why. She smiled the whole time I did her makeup.....who doesn't love that AND she let me do what I wanted. She's quite the makeup maven and knows her product , we had fun!

Here's the break down:
Skin: la mer gel moisture and Murad primer
Base: Armani fluid silk 10 and beauty blender sponge
Cheek: raisin contour and a true orange on the cheek both Mac
Under eye: nc 45 full cover from Mac
Eye: burnished amber shadow from Tom Ford and carbon on outer edges deeper burgundy smudged under eye for depth med copper on lid gold inner eye.
Bobbie brown gel liner in black inside water line and across upper lash and winged out.
Lash: Chanel volume intense 2 coats top and bottom ardell knot free lashes on top in medium
Lip: Tom Ford Wild Ginger lipstick

Kate Mara is a babe

Writing this as I sit in a chair attempting to repair a funky pre Christmas hi light for a third time......sigh...so Kate......did her last week for her show premier in D.C. (House of cards). I took a train there and back in a day. She's really so lovely it was entirely worth it. Hair by Christopher Naselli
So here's my break down..........




Skin: Clarins Beauty Flash Balm / Murad primer
Foundation : Armani fluid silk 6.5/5.0 heavier on the 5.0 side. Rolled it on with a moist beauty blender sponge keeping the coverage sheer and dewy.

Conceal: my secret blend of la mer eye cream and Mac full cover base in 2.0 apply with the fluffiest tiniest brush

Cheek: Kevyn Aucoin contour under cheek bones lightly around hair line. nars luster on apple of cheek and the tiniest blend of deep throat on top.

Eyes: Mac gel liner in black inside the water line and smudged along lash.
Tom ford pencil in brown worked in on top and smudged into lashes top and bottom.

Dior shimmering taupes on lid and dusted in a wide diffused line underneath gold highlight inner eye corner.

Lashes : shiseido lash curler, lash control mascara 3 coats , ardell individual lashes in the middle of eye.

Lips: Dior gloss 167
Highlighter: Kevyn Aucoin candlelight on bow of lips , tops of cheekbones,bridge of nose.

Powder: urban decay
